Timothy Rigby
President and CCO
Tim Rigby, President of Investors Asset Management, founded the firm in 1988 and is a veteran investment advisor. Previously, Tim worked at the Federal Reserve as a bank examiner and at Robinson Humphrey as a broker. At Investors Asset Management, he has worked extensively in the areas of investment and asset management, building successful portfolios for a wide variety of clients for more than 30 years.
Hailing from Wallingford, Connecticut, Tim graduated from Wake Forest University. When he is not working, Tim enjoys spending time with his grandchildren. He is an avid golfer and has placed in several local tournaments.
Samuel Carlyle
Vice President
Sam Carlyle, Vice President of Investors Asset Management, has been with Investors Asset Management since 1990.
Before coming to the firm, he was a broker at Robinson Humphrey. He is a graduate of Emory University with a degree in Economics.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time at the lake.
Mark Armentrout
Vice President
Mark Armentrout is a veteran investment advisor who joined Investors Asset Management in 1989 after moving over from Robinson Humphrey. Mark works with individuals on both taxable and tax exempt account investment.
Mark is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and served in the Navy nuclear power program. He has always been active in the beef cattle industry, co-founding a company to provide individual animal tracking and traceability. He currently manages the family farm in Virginia, providing a sustainable operation for his children and grandchildren.
Lance Reising
Director of Marketing
Lance Reising, Investment Advisor Representative, has served as the Marketing Director for the firm’s Investor’s Choice 401(k) program since 2012. Lance’s previous experiences were as a CFO of a private manufacturing company and he had additional roles in finance and ownership in the telecommunications, travel, and commercial banking industries.
Lance received a B. A. from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from Georgia State University. He lives in Marietta with his lovely wife, Juliet, where they raised two children. His leisure time is now spent chasing grandchildren, volunteering, playing golf, fishing, boating, and recreational driving.
Jane Rigby
Client Care Specialist
Jane Rigby has been Client Care Specialist for Investors Asset Management for 18 years. Before coming to Investors Asset Management, Jane had over 10 years in Human Resource and Accounting in a variety of industries. She specializes in providing exceptional attention to the firm’s clients as well as supports and manages back-office functions.
Born and raised in Martinsville, Virginia, Jane is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill (Go Heels!). Jane has lived in Atlanta since the 1970s and has raised two children, Michael and Katie and now keeps herself busy with all her grandchildren!
Gregory Waters
Vice President
Greg Waters, Vice President of Investors Asset Management, joined the firm in 1990. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a financial and tax investigator for Corporate Intelligence Consultants, and subsequently joined American Express Financial Advisors in 1986. With more than 30 years as an investment professional, Greg provides advice, planning and portfolio management to individuals, as well as retirement plan advice and portfolio management for corporations and the non-profit sector.
Greg graduated from the University of Georgia, earning a B.B.A, with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting.
Beyond work, his passions are time with his children, traveling, spending time on the lake and fly fishing.
Katie Oliver
Vice President
Katie Oliver is an Investment Advisor Representative for Investors Asset Management. Before joining the firm Katie had 14 years of experience in the public and charter school systems in North Carolina and Georgia as a teacher and an administrator. Since joining the firm, she has enjoyed leveraging her experience as an educator to support clients.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Katie is a graduate of Wake Forest University and Harvard Graduate School of Education. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and son, serving on the boards of several non-profit organizations in Atlanta, running (and doing physical therapy so she can keep running), reading, and traveling.
